Tradio is a "live" call in show on Hank Country, KMHI AM 1240. The community is asked to call in to Buy, Sell or Trade items every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:20 am – Noon. Yard and Garage Sale dates and locations will also be announced. Call 587-8424 Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving next Thurs. Tradio will not be broadcast on Nov.22 and office will also be closed on Friday, Nov. 23. The Toys for Tots Fund Drive is through Dec. 24. Toys or monetary donations can be dropped off at the local UPS Store. Bazaars: Snowflake Bazaar at Carlos Mexican Restaurant on Friday, Nov. 23 from 11 – 7 and from 11 – 6 on Sat. Nov. 24 Saturday, Dec. 1 North Elem. School from 9 am – 3 pm hosted by Alpha Omicron Chapter ESA Mountain Home Senior Center from 8 am – 2 pm The First Congregational Church from 8 am – 2 pm Dec. 8 Last Chance Craft Sale from 9 am 1 pm at 1745 American Legion Blvd. Call Gina Dunn at 587-8149 for more information. ________________________________________________________________________ The Annual 366th Fighter Wing’s Holiday Cookie Drive for base bound and deployed Airman will take place on Monday, December 10 at the Commissary. Homemade cookies can be dropped off curbside from 7:30 – 9:30 am that day. In town cookies can be taken to the Chamber of Commerce by Friday, Dec. 7. Homemade Holiday Cards 5 ½ x 8 will be added to each package of cookies. These cards can be dropped off at the library in town or the one on base by Thurs. Dec. 6. The group was formed in July and a social period for new and prospective members will begin at 7 pm. The Second Annual Christmas Parade of Lights will be held on Nov. 23 at 6:30 pm. This year’s theme is "Follow the Star". Entry forms are available in the Mtn. Home News or at the Chamber office. Cash prizes will be awarded for general entry and best float. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 16. "Arts After Five" in downtown Mtn. Home businesses will be held from 5 pm – 8 pm on Thursday, Nov. 29.
